Now I know it?s been a while but lets get down to Business..this weekend I picked up The Nanny Diaries. I had previously read what the critics had to say about the movie and about Scarlett Johansson?s acting ability which was lets say a good decision cause they were not spot on with their criticism but they did have valid points.
The Nanny Diaries starts off being Narrated by the so to speak ?Nanny? Scarlett Johansson who has a tone of voice that could piss off a deaf person -?don?t get me wrong no hard feelings that?s just the way I hear it!?
She continues to take us on this school trip like info session on different regions and their motherhood instincts but I must say they really did their research because they quoted a saying I?ve heard before

Apart from that we were subjected to the normal ?Lie to my mother and take the Nanny Job? and ?Meet Hot Guy but he is off limits!? Speaking of the Hot guy who just happened to be Chris Evans?what was his use in the film aside from a cameo? he did practically nothing but encourage her to quit the Nanny Job when she wasn?t spending enough time with him!If you ask me?they started off with a good story but somewhere along the line the story died and even a respirator couldn?t keep it alive!
Alicia Keys was in a supporting role (Doesn?t surprise me) and she did fairly okay just a couple of unnecessary jives and jibes of her upper and lower hands like she was conducting something!
Now my Criticism is over i can know talk about the Good Qualities of the Film?..
Nice Storyline..kindof seemed like a modern day Mary Poppins but without the singing..now to Laura Linney who starred as the Posh Upper East Side Mother who hired ?The Nanny? she was not convincing to me?she was totally over playing the part not to talk of her husband played by that dude that was blue with Amanda Bynes and Franky Muniz?.It wondered why they cast him!
Omg?It’s funny how I intend to write positive things but negative seems to just take over!
Okay?so yeah the End was definitely rushed?annoying and so predictable? and i couldn?t help but wonder why?? i wasted time on the darn movie oh did i mention money!

Overall - 6/10 - Could be better!
