At first I Wasn?t sure if this was going to be a hit but boy was I in for it when I flipped to BET last year. The series is centered around Keisha Cole the singer and songwriter who rose from the streets of Oakland becoming a multi platinum selling artist and trust me it is REAL to the core!
I?m actually happy that Keisha and her management came up with this cause it gives us and insight into the trials that people face to get to where they are now.
This was the best season finale I?ve ever watched it contains a lot of cussing and fighting but in the end the message is clear.
Her Mother Frankie who was a former crack head is my best on the show? especially when she advised her daughter neffe not to abort her unborn child it was so heartwarming to see that?.I?m looking forward to watching more from this series and I think Keisha Cole has a story to tell and guess what? she?s got me hooked?
