Ok Hollywood Mama was in Lagos but its definitely shocking that I missed the info….

According to a Blog Stella’s Groove Nollywood Stars are said to have snubbed American Born Actress Ebbe Bassey in Nigeria during her visit to the motherland. Ebbe Bassey born in The Bronx, New York who is of Nigerian Descent is apparently not finding it funny!

According to an olofofo who eavesdropped on an olofofo relative of the pretty actress.Ebbe Bassey got the shock of her life during her last visit to nigeria and the gist is ebbe arrived nigeria on the december 18,2007 and as soon as she got in she called her friend segun arinze who sounded excited and told her to take a taxi to surulere that he will foot the bill,the actress refused and insisted on seeing segun the nextday,a time was struck the next day for swey bar but segun did not turn up and did not make further contact with ebbe.ebbe has also been friends with actress stella damasus whom she acted with in movie’games women play’,both ladies have been in constant communication and when stella lost her hubby,ebbe flew in and was at stellas side to wish herwell,she called stellas number when she came in but was told stella is out of town but it was a shocked ebbe who saw stella in swey bar and got the cold shoulder from the actress who turned her face and stared through ebbe like a glass door.

ebbe and ramsey nouah have been friends since 2006 when they met in New york at theoctober 1 2006 carnival,both decided to meet at the calabar festival during thechristmas period and in calabar ramsey kept calling ebbe and even invited her for aparty on december 26,2007.she got to the party and as she was ushered inside flo-ita giwas housewith some two other ladies,florence ita-giwa appeared and began screaming in efik that the ladies should get out of her house at once,ramsey reluctantly came down and rescued the situation and then took the ladies upstairs where nollywood stars segun arinze,pete edochie,rita dominic and florence giwa were seated having fun,and they all snobbed the actress who shamefully left after a few minutes and later ramsey placed a call to ebbes phone asking to meet her but the actress declined.on december 28,2007 both ebbe and her crew met again with ramsey nouah and rita dominic at the airport and again all parties ignored each other even though they all flew back to lagos with arik airlines.”the olofofos also include that as soon as the gist got to ritas new manager,she immediately visited the american actress on december 30,2007 with ritas P.A(ijeoma)in tow to apologise that trita is not a snobbish person(i agree)and was just minding her business.please the managers of the other stars should explain their snobbish behaviour as it is uncalled for.dont we all know that success is but a temporary thing and anyone sensible enough should not let it intoxicate them?.as for the actress ebbe,i guess she has learnt her lesson that in showbiz theres no friend like Jesus!(halleluyah somebody!)
