I’m sure some of you were wondering what the fuck was up with the site!

I had some minor upgrades I wanted to get done and I’m glad i got that out of the way.. Quick note if you see a post with no image, its not been removed we switched servers so the images didnt move over please give me time i will on a weekend correct that issue.

So I’m back home from my 2 week plus vacation and I have serious Jetlag, It was fun taking a trip back home and relaxing with the family but all in all it did take a toll on me to leave and return back here.

Where did I go?

I went to Lagos, Nigeria I grew up there so I returned home for the Christmas/New Year Holiday

I have just recieved exclusive pictures of Rita Dominic, Hollywood Mama’s Nollywood Actress of the Month on the set of her new film “Saidi’s Song” also starring Raz Adoti.

I have to say looking at those pictures, the Nollywood Industry’s film making techniques are getting better!

Rita looks gorgeous and her hair… whoever did it should come hook me up!

To me, she is the Angelina Jolie of Nollywood her killer smile and the way she dresses! Rita Dominic is what you call “a darn good actress” Born in Lagos, Nigeria this hollywood bound actress has really shown us what shes working with. From films that make portray her never fading talent to films that show her ability to try ’something new’ Rita has done it all! She came into this industry later than Genevieve Nnaji but has now put her self in the category for comparison.

Although she prefers not to be compared her work speaks for it’s self …..

Here’s an excerpt from a write up on her:

The success story of Nollywood notwithstanding, Rita is not unaware of the shortcomings in the industry. According to her, the problem of ego is so overwhelming in the sector. And how does she cope with this? “I try as much as possible to have a civil relationship with my colleagues, but there are some people who I would prefer to work with more than the rest. There are certain people that I don?t connect with and I?d rather not work with them.”

Speaking on one of her favourite movies; Break Up, Rita confessed “I enjoyed Break Up because I acted alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Jennifer Eliogu and it was all about girly fun and togetherness. Moreso, Genny (Genevieve) is someone I get on with quite well.”

Beyond the challenges posed by the downsides of fame, says said she has discovered that she has to re-educate herself on the many roles she has been playing.

For example, All my Life; another favourite movie of hers, she played the part of a girl whose older sister is unable to have a baby after a number of years of marriage. Her older sister begs her to step into her shoes and have a baby. After a lot of uproar, the family consents, and the younger sister agrees. She marries her sister?s husband, conceives and bears a child, but has to live with her sister?s jealousy and physical abuse.

The story is surprisingly compelling, and Rita?s role is moving and excellently delivered.
And who exactly is Rita Dominic? She was quick to say “Rita is an easy-going, fun-loving girl, who is not afraid of hard work and who doesn?t like to be taken for granted.” She added: “An actress will always be an actress and for me, when I?m not acting, I will still be acting
