Beyonce Knowles shooting scenes from her new movie ‘Obsessed’ with her co-star Idris Elba. In this emotional scene Beyonce runs to her car and grabs her child while wearing a T-Shirt that is ripped and covered in blood. Her husband arrives home and they all embrace.

Her first film project since “Dream Girls” we cant wait to see it…

Siri Oko Fo (Mending Fences) a short film which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival is creating a buzz in the world of short films.

Co-Written by Actress Ebbe Bassey and Director Heather Murphy and Produced by Josh Hetzler and Ed Roy Mending Fences brings a tale of family, love, secrets and traditions centered around Immigration and a shocking plot.

The Title Siri Oko Fo is translated to mean

When you take a nail out of a fence, no matter how much you try to fill it, fix it or cover it up, the damage has been done. You can never truly mend the fence.

I must admit that I kind of threw up in my mouth when I heard P Diddy was playing a part in the play version not to talk of him acting his role on T.V! To my suprise when I tuned in to watch “A Raisin in The Sun” on ABC last monday I was suprised. It was a great film, and a terrific play brought to the big screen. The Chemistry between the characters was awesome and in all I enjoyed it.

The Movie version of the critically acclaimed play drew in 12.7 Million viewers on Monday and P Diddy was quoted as saying:

?This has been a life changing experience for me. I love acting, In order to make movies, I have to be where the movies are being made.?

Ha Ha! hasn’t won a grammy yet but he seems to be eyeing the Oscars!

The Oscars was clearly over hyped but there were some interesting parts to it! With the way the Writers Strike crippled the industry its no wonder why films that deserved Oscar Nominations where deliberately snubbed and the underdog films came out with Oscars.

According to MWZA The CW’s hit show “Girlfriends” has been cancelled.

Mara Brock Akil released this statement:

?Although it?s always difficult to say goodbye, I choose to focus my energy on the history that Girlfriends has made, the human stories that we told, the beautifully complex images that we projected and the blessings 172 episodes bestowed on us, both personally and professionally.

I am immensely thankful to the amazingly talented cast, writers, directors, staff and crew for their endless dedication and hard work for eight seasons, to the that always wanted us and to the studio that always supported us, but mostly to the audience, especially African-American women, who took the time to tune into us every Monday night at nine to have a dialogue with us and who have been our partner in this journey. I am currently in talks with the studio and network on putting together a retrospective show which will honor and celebrate this landmark series, so please stay tuned.?

Yeah Mara…Thanks alot for taking away the only show that I loved!!
