Kobe Bryant’s 19 points secured a 89-68 victory against Russia in  Beijing Yesterday. 

Early in the game, there was doubt that the US would secure this win but in the 3rd Quarter Kobe scored 11 of his 19 points to keep the US ahead his 3-pointer early in the third gave the Americans a 20-point cushion but Russia came back barely 2 mintutes later!

Carmelo Anthony also put on a great performance scoring 17 points in the game. A crowd of 14,523 packed the Arena most of them supporting the US cheered endlessdly for Kobe and his team mates chanting “MVP” everytime Kobe approached the free throw line.

The two lovebirds who have been struggling with finding a replacement sitter showed no signs of relationship strain as they paraded in and out of the Restaurant…

Heath Ledger will no doubt be remembered in Hollywood as a versatile and incredibly talented actor. His latest movie and the last full screen performance “The Dark Knight” saw Ledger as The Joker and he gave his all to that role. Comparing the movie to Broke Back Mountain Ledger really delved into the Jokers Mind….while playing the role there was no telling where Heath Ledger was…all we saw was a senile character The Joker.

I got goosebumps throughout his performance and it is sad that his life was cut short truly tragic.

The film was great I’ll rate it an  A in every aspect from the action to the stunts…clearly right up there with Iron Man but like all other great films it was LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maggie was okay a little stiff like Kirsten Dunst but aren’t all the superhero girlfriends all stiff!

“We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment.”
